You know where this is from. In the movie, Latios died and Latias got to see exactly what he saw: the earth. As Misty said: "The Earth looks so beautiful. So blue.'

I imagine, at this point, Latias realized that Latios would never come back, that he was really dead. You think she shed a tear or two? I know I did.
